Be part of Mi Casa´s mission to inform and help the Hispanic/Latino community thrive.
Mi Casa was born out of a need in the Hispanic/Latino community to receive basic services that uphold the idea that all people are created equal. As the Hispanic/Latino community in North Carolina grows, it is important to meet the moment by helping them access programs and help they need while also informing them of their rights and responsibilities so they can thrive in America. We help the community through our four programs: the Immigration Advocacy Program, the Taxpayer Advocacy Program, Translation/Interpretation, and General Direct Services and have built a foundation of trust with the community so they know, as a non-profit, we have their best interests at heart.
We know how hard earned every dollar is in our community and we believe money should not be another of the many obstacles our community faces which is why we are here. However, as a non-profit we do rely on our community to help us out. Your donation helps someone get sound professional legal advice; it helps someone file taxes; it helps a first generation student apply for FAFSA so they can go to college; it helps a newly employed worker fill out their onboarding applications. In short, it makes a difference so that our community stays informed and the help they need.
